I’ve spent years learning how to listen to my body. Living with MS has taught me that my symptoms—fatigue, stiffness, shortness of breath—are not just random occurrences. They’re signals. Messages from deep within, urging me to slow down, pay attention, and honor what I need.
But what I’ve recently come to understand is that my body wasn’t just responding to MS—it was responding to unhealed trauma, to stress, to the ways I ignored my own boundaries.
And the more I pushed past my own discomfort, the louder my body screamed.
